We do not require you to create an account to use SC Tee Times. We collect limited information automatically when you visit the site:

Usage data: Pages visited, time spent on the site, referring URLs, and general location data (country/region level). Collected via Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel.
Device data: Browser type, operating system, and screen resolution. Used to improve site compatibility.
Precise location data (optional): If you use the "Near Me" filter, your browser will request your GPS coordinates via the Geolocation API. This data is used solely to sort nearby courses within your browser session. We do not transmit, store, or retain your precise location on any server.

Email address (optional): If you sign up for early access to tee time alerts, we collect the email address you give us and the market you signed up from. This is the only information you actively submit, it is entirely optional, and it is never required to use any part of the Site.

How we use your information

To understand how visitors use the site and improve content and navigation
To serve advertisements via Google AdSense, if we enable advertising on the Site in the future
To measure whether our ads on Facebook and Instagram bring visitors to the Site, and to show our ads to people who have visited before
To monitor site performance and fix technical issues
To calculate distances between your location and nearby courses when you use the Near Me feature (processed entirely in your browser)
To contact you about tee time alerts and related feature updates, but only if you have given us your email address for that purpose

Your email and how to unsubscribe

If you sign up for tee time alerts, we store your email address using Supabase, our database provider, and we keep it until you ask us to remove it or until the alerts feature is discontinued. Every email we send will include a way to unsubscribe, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time through our Contact page. We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services that may collect data when you visit our site:

SC Tee Times does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

SC Tee Times contains links to external golf course websites and booking platforms. When you click a "Book Now" link, you will be taken directly to that course's own tee sheet. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
